Coming up in a teeny, weeny town situated along the Ohio River, I was no stranger to snow. However, snow and I have been estranged for years. Well, at least what I consider “real snow” because flurries don’t count. Tiny bits of accumulation don’t really equate “real snow” either my fellow Texans.
Yeah, this is snow, but it’s not snow: Welp, finally got the real deal! About 12 record breaking inches is what they say.
@Arenetta: Have you ever seen the 1987 movie, Mannequin? Andrew McCarthy puts together a mannequin that turns into Kim Cattrall? Well, that's what I was trying to do with the snowman.
I think as a general rule of thumb, it's not "snow snow" unless there's enough to build a reasonable size snowman. Snowmen actually. Like, a family of them.
But what do I know about snow? I live in Australia.
lucky you!!! i'd kill to play in some snow!!! i hear that making a snowman is actually kinda hardwork, like a workout. one day ill find out. cute flower on the snowman! :)
I grew up in a slowly, painfully dying small mid-western village that was propserous way before my time. By my early early teens, I was forced south to the great, hot state of Texas and the rest is history. Now, I'm dying to get out of this overgrown, small town minded, big city suburb they call "FUN CENTRAL" because it lacks fun and public transportation.

That's a sexy snowman Steph! I have a pic just like that with me and my pup. But I don't have those Hannah Montana pajamas. :-(
I am sooo glad I found your blog! Not only do you go out and make snow angels and snow men... you do it all in Hannah Montana pj's! You Rock Lady!!

@Katherine: haha, thanks!
Well I guess I'd go outside too if it was a record breaking snow instead of just another snow!
@Bathwater: Yeah, I would've kept my sick ass inside if it were regular snow.

@Cecilia: And, why not!? C'mon, you've got to at least once, but be prepared because it's way more of a work out than imagined :P
